AWAZ for secular campus

AWAZ has always stood for a secular campus. We firmly believe in the right of every citizen to practice their religious beliefs, but we stand against public institutions patronising any form of religious practice.

In context of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, AWAZ has conducted many signature and poster campaigns against performance of Saraswati Pooja by the Unions. Click here to view the documented records of our efforts in this regard.

AWAZ for availability of answer scripts

AWAZ has been a consistent supporter of the nation wide movement for transparency in examinational evaluation. We welcome the Supreme Court judgement in the case Central Board of Secondary Education & anr v Aditya Bandopadhyay & ors as a landmark towards making answer scripts of examinations of all sorts in educational institutions across the board easily available to candidates. Archives

Premising the RTI as a primary tool for affirmative action, AWAZ has continually sought information on various issues of public interest. We hope free and easy access to this information may be useful to the student community and the public at large in pressing for more transparent, citizen friendly governance.
